 miscellaneous other trips! here are some pictures from my trip to florida over thanksgiving. (gosh, was it 1995? i'm too old to remember) i had never been to florida before, so it was definitely an adventure. an adventure in what, exactly, i'm still trying to figure out...  a car repair shop shaped like a dinosaur and, down the road, just a statue of a dinosaur by the side of the road. why? 
 although it's hard to make out, this bird is actually riding a bicycle. no lie! an ice cream shop shaped like an ice cream cone. very fifties. 
this is the mt. wilson observatory near los angeles. a very creepy place. my mom and i stopped here while visiting my brother at college a few years ago.
