Yes, we’re two years late to the party, but since everything’s summer rerunning and we cancelled Netflix (because we just could not get around to watching things — they would sit on our shelf for months) we are FINALLY watching Veronica Mars (season one, for now). Of course it’s as good as everyone says, duh! Our professional BTVS experience makes us super-skeptical of everyone — it was SO OBVIOUS that Troy was a vampire. The only ding I’ll give them is that everything is so super crazy speedy. Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on your way out, Troy!
And my nephew FINALLY deigned to grace the world with his presence, only 2 weeks late. We got to meet little James Frederick Newnam (aka Jamie) over the weekend, and he’s a cutie. As with his baby cousin Ellie, Gus really wanted to pet Jamie’s soft little head. Man, we need to get that kid a cat!
