it’s a thing like habit

I am tired. Bone tired. Then why am I browsing Adidas on Zappos? I don’t even (really) need new sneakers, though my old ones are probably about 2 or 3 yrs old, but they are still perfectly fine, really!
If I *did* for some reason decide to buy new sneakers, I’d get these for summer:
and these for winter:
How old am I, anyway, 12? Can an about-to-definitively-be-in-her-late-30s-parent (ooh, so uncool) really wear those and get away with it?

You said it! I can wear youthful sneakers, right on!
Of course, spending $100 on sneakers is the thing I really can’t do. Yowza!
I LOVE those Adidas Sambas. I currently have one pair of sneakers – basic black Adidas Campus. I’m all about the three stripes as I progress further into middle age.
I know, me too, it’s so weird! As a younger me I was all about whatever sneaker looked coolest to me, and I guess I still am, except that they are all Adidas.

HEY it’s a fun age! We need to reclaim it. Or just claim it.
