The French is surprisingly sticky, I've found, which I guess is what happens when you have a smattering of a language in preschool and then take it in 7th through 11th grades. I've been to Quebec twice and it always amazes me how much I can actually read. And that's probably why the Spanish is so nearly comprehensible, too. I know, me too!
