Or too young! Read Lizard Music (which I think takes place in Chicago, even if it doesn't say so), the one about the giant chicken (really good, takes place in NJ), and right now we're reading the Yggdrassey (should have read the Neddiad first tho). Also some for younger kids about bad zoo animals, still funny for older ppl.
