Yeah, I need to revamp my listmaking these days, definitely. I had a good system last semester but it’s fallen down lately. With work stuff it’s more that there’s so much that I *want* to do that it’s hard to give any of it up. It’s been easier to let go of non-essential home improvementy type stuff (though our bathrooms will need renovating soon, which I’m dreading).

In the spirit of #1 (and the little project manager inside me), you should prioritize the things on your big lists–perhaps you do already. It may make it easier to let go of the things if you can get the high priority things (the musts) done. You’ll look at some item and it will be marked “low priority” and you’ll feel it wasn’t that important after all.
