We keep talking about nuggets at work these days, as in "delivering library instruction in multiple combinable nuggets." Yes, I am a nerd. We're midway into switching from the cedar to the pine litter as I type. I think we need to move a little faster. The cedar litter smells great but is insanely trackable (think hamster cage). The pine, with its nuggets, seems less so. And hip hop hooray for flushable litter! Yes, only now do I see how the nuggets could be gifted with multiple meanings. It still gets on the floor, but it has some real advantages: it can be flushed down the toilet, odor control is good, and it's much lighter to carry home from the store. Also, it doesn't get caught in their paws as much, so less tracking outside of the bathroom proper. Har, I can imagine that Bill & Ted would completely bore today’s hip kids. Right now we are watching I Am Legend (why can we never seem to watch a movie all in one night anymore?). Of course the big thrill are all of the crazy shots of abandoned NYC (and bombed bridges), but I’m finding it strangely affecting, too.
