Yes, only now do I see how the nuggets could be gifted with multiple meanings. We keep talking about nuggets at work these days, as in "delivering library instruction in multiple combinable nuggets." Yes, I am a nerd.

We're midway into switching from the cedar to the pine litter as I type. I think we need to move a little faster. The cedar litter smells great but is insanely trackable (think hamster cage). The pine, with its nuggets, seems less so.

And hip hop hooray for flushable litter!

Re: litter box (and tasty nuggets as a title for a post with cat poop caused some serious cognitive dissonance), we use the pine litter. It still gets on the floor, but it has some real advantages: it can be flushed down the toilet, odor control is good, and it's much lighter to carry home from the store. Also, it doesn't get caught in their paws as much, so less tracking outside of the bathroom proper.

Thanks, and thanks too for the awesome gifts! (Proper thank you note coming, of course.)

Har, I can imagine that Bill & Ted would completely bore today's hip kids. Right now we are watching I Am Legend (why can we never seem to watch a movie all in one night anymore?). Of course the big thrill are all of the crazy shots of abandoned NYC (and bombed bridges), but I'm finding it strangely affecting, too.

When I can get the Fresh Prince theme song out of my head, that is. Also we decided that Will Smith must just have a giant room full of money, and cracked ourselves up with that for a while. "Oh Jada, be a dear and throw another hundred mil in the money room. But shut the door quick so nothing escapes!"

Hey cats, wipe your damn paws!!!

Happy belated! Hope it was great!!!

I kinda liked M&L but I saw it by myself and hadn't gotten too psyched about it. Later I told Ben it would be a cute date movie & he was like You Watched It w/o Me? But he never did see it, I think I'd sent it back.

We let Max watch Bill & Ted & he was like Um Sure Mom & Dad It Was Funny?! (thinking: what the hek was wrong w/ them in the 80s?)
